Allow the patient to set the pace.

Keep the patient’s needs central to the decision that are taken.

Enable the family to get involved.

Allow the patient to review his or her life.

Encourage expressions of fears.

Understand and be sensitive to the emotional stages in the process of dying (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance).

Be kind, warm, patient, and gentle in approach.

Always be prepared to admit to your limitations.

Be prepared to continue learning.

Sage Health Solutions – WE DARE TO CARE

Guidelines for working with the Terminally ill

What do our clients say…

Without Sage Health Solutions, we could not have cared for my mother in law quite as well as we did.

I would like to thank Gheelmeyah and her friendly staff for assisting and answering all our questions thus providing us with products and service that were new to us.

Shukran and I shall surely refer anybody that is in my position to you.
